We are powerful because we have survived, and that is what it is all about- survival and growth.”

Talk therapy can be a powerful tool; the opportunity to investigate experience and relational dynamics and patterns with compassionate witness holds transformational potential. My role in this journey is one of co-investigator, coming from an understanding that acknowledges our social location as every bit as significant to our well-being as our psychological characteristics. While individual change is important, so to is the idea that fighting for social change influences and shapes our experiences of health and connection.

I have a Masters degree in Social Work and have been practicing in the field for over twenty years.
